● Compared to the state of uncorrected myopia and when using ordinary single vision lenses: In the case of uncorrected myopia, the image of the central object of the field of vision will be located in the center in front of the retina, while the image of peripheral objects will fall behind the retina. Correction with conventional lenses shifts the imaging plane so that it is centered in the foveal region, but peripheral objects are imaged even further posterior to the retina, resulting in peripheral hyperopic defocus that may stimulate axial length extension.
● The ideal optical control can be achieved through multi-point defocus, that is, the center needs to be able to see clearly, and the peripheral images should fall in front of the retina, so as to guide the retina to move forward as much as possible instead of extending backward. We use a stable and increasing compound defocus amount to form a ring-shaped myopia defocus area. While ensuring the stability of the central area of the lens, a myopia defocus signal is formed in front of the retina, pulling the eye axis to slow down the growth, so as to achieve the prevention effect of myopia in young people.
